A tree that used to be used for monitoring the spread of bush fires

JOURNAL

The Dave Evan’s Bicentennial Tree is a 65m climb along over 100 metal pegs hammered into its trunk. The tree used to be used as a fireman’s lookout to watch the spread of bush fires. Now it’s a place to go and **** your pants…

There’s no harness. There’s nothing to clip on to. And there’s nothing to catch you if you fall.

Miss a step, and your foot is going to plunge downwards into thin air. It’s great fun.
